Avoid affiliate programs that ask you to pay any kind of fee to join their program. You should never have to pay money to make money from an affiliate program. Also be weary of affiliate programs that offer you exuberant commissions. This could be a scam where they will ask for lots of personal information that is not needed to sign up for an affiliate program.

Online marketing and offline marketing are smart endeavors to get the traffic you need to your website. Take advantage of submitting your site to search engines, try an article marketing campaign, and consider advertising through press releases and newsletters.
